Bringing Research to Life Through Visual Storytelling
Adwait Pawar is incredibly skilled as an illustrator and designer and has been instrumental in visualising and illustrating some of CBPS’ research outputs. In the three projects that he worked with us on – the Annual Report, the creatives associated with the Policy Festival (Neeti Habba), and policy briefs related to a project – he went beyond merely illustrating the major findings. He actively developed a visual language that allowed a diverse audience to engage with the output immediately.
He has been able to understand the layers of complexities of the work, focused on a few salient features, and used that to illustrate the ideas generated within the research. He is very detail-oriented and highly imaginative.
He is a pleasure to work with because he is a good communicator and listener. It has been a great experience working with Adwait because he believes in collaborative work, and that makes all the difference.
